WHAT IS URSUS?
"Ursus" means bear in Latin, and it is the name of the Brewster High School literary magazine! We publish poetry and prose written by BHS students and faculty, as well as artwork and photography.
WHO IS URSUS?
The Ursus editors are Brewster High School students of all grade levels who are passionate about creating all kinds of art! Our meetings are managed by Mrs. Corvino and Mr. LoAlbo, and during the 2021-2022 school year, they have been run by Angelika Tyhansky ('22) with help from Nuala Alvord ('22).
